Photo of the exterior of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmot (Bill) Ferrier's home in Cookstown. It is a large two-storey house with a covered front porch and awnings over the three windows on the front of the house. It is made of brick and has a hip and valley style roof with decorative gables. There is snow on the front lawn. The home is located on 8 Wellington Street and was built sometime after the lot was purchased in 1867 by Andrew Ferrier.

Home later belongs to the Elines family - Don and Betty and children Jane, Michael, David and Richard. Don Elines and Betty moved to smaller home east of this one and Don died in April 1988.
