Scan of a page of the Francis and Agnes (née Beattie) Barclay family bible, which lists the birth dates of their ten children as well as their own. The list contains two separate entries for George Barclay, which is correct. The first was born on 25 May 1826 in Canonbie, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, and died on 11 February 1831. He was buried in the Canonbie Kirkyard in plot 483. Another son born in 1834 was also given the name George.
