Parade Queen

Parade on Queen Street
A 1997 Agricultural Society parade float traveling through Queen Street in Cookstown. The float is being pulled by a tractor. The parade took place as part of the 130th Fall Fair.

Queen of The Furrow Parade

Queen of The Furrow Winners
The 1997 South Simcoe and North Simcoe "Queen of the Furrow" winners being announced - the two winners can be seen on the left side of the image. Vendors During A Parade

On the right is an unnamed table selling beef sides for $1.79 for over 250 pounds or $1.99 for under 250 pounds, pork sides for $1.19 a pound, capons for $1.79 a pound, utility turkeys for $0.99 a pound, farmers sausage for $1.99 a pound, and 11 pound boxes of bacon for $20. The sign also reads "C.N.E. special with any $400 order free 12/14 lb. turkey".
