At the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ont. in his 69th year, the husband of Dorothy Edith Moreland of Innisfil, the father of Mark (Rosa) of Newmarket and of Stephen of Angus. He is survived by his brother Ron Moreland and by his sister Susan Harvey. Alan was a retired Sargent of the R. C.A. F with 26 years of service. A memorial service was at the Innisfil Funeral Home in Stroud on April 29th, 2005. Cremation.

She was a daughter of the late Bert Dermott and is survived by Agnes Dermott. Sister of Lloyd and Sandy Dermott of Cookstown, Debbie Dermott of Alliston, Ian and Lindon Dermott of Bolton, Janice and Wayne Williamson of Centerville, and Allan Dermott (Cheryl) of Alliston. Funeral was held at Cookstown United Church on July 4th, 2005 followed by interment in Thornton Union Cemetery.
