Carol Anne McPherson, (Hill), the publisher of the Innisfil Enterprise passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ont., in her 53rd year. She was the mother of Craig, also a resident of Innisfil. She was the sister of Lois Salsman of Mississauga and was predeceased by brothers Charles and John Curtis. The funeral service was held in the Innisfil Funeral Home Chapel on March 17th with interment in the Sixth Line Cemetery in Innisfil.

After resting at the Rod Abrams Funeral home in Tottenham, Ont a Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Patricks Church, Schomberg on October 25th, 2007 followed by cremation. At Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ont. on October 21st, 2007. in her 76th year, the wife of Ed Mernagh. She was the mother of Terry and her husband David Ward, Angie Lister and Dave Tenaka, Eddie Mernagh and Dianne de Jong, and Patrick and Marlene Mernagh. She was the sister of Adele Kennedy and Peter Stephenson and of Pat and Olga Mernagh. Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Patrick's Church, Schomberg on October 25th, 2007 followed by cremation.
