He is survived by his sonsMichael (Kellie) of Barrie, Stephen (Katherine) of Barrie and daughters Kathryn (Mike) Belcher of Minden, Lisa McBride and Laurie (Kevin) Brown of Barrie. Joseph leaves his brother Eugene McBride (Cathie) and sisters Mary Blucher, Evelyn White and Anne Algar. Funeral Mass at St. John Vianney Church on Dec. 1,2005 followed by cremation. He was the father of Jim McCabe of Beeton, and of Yvonne and her husband Brian Grier of Fergus. He was the brother of Walter and his wife Marguerite McCabe and was predeceased by Garnet McCabe. The funeral service was held at the Egan Funeral Home in Bolton on March 5th, 2007. Interment was in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bolton.

She was in her 78th year, the beloved wife of the late Angus McCague for 47 years. She was the mother of Karen McCague of Perth and Nancy and her husband John Mallard of Beeton. She was the sister of Marguerite and her husband Hugh Richmond, Fred Piper and the late Kathleen (Peter Fachnie). Funeral service was held on June 24th, 2006 at the Rod Abrams Funeral Home in Tottenham followed by a reception in the Trinity United Church hall in Beeton.
