Colourized photo of Dr. L.H. Campbell dressed in a suit with one foot resting on the running board of an early automobile. Dr. Campbell graduated in medicine from the University of Toronto in 1892, with an M.B. degree from Toronto, and M.D. and C.M. degrees from Victoria University. He began practising medicine in Bradford in 1893 and built his house on John Street in 1902. He was a star member on the Bradford Lacrosse team, and led them to victory over Barrie many times. He also played hockey, football, cricket, and many other sports. Additionally, he was also a member of the Board of Health and was a High School Trustee.
